Just saw a clip on TV because it's the British premier of the film tonight. I don't want to see any of the film before seeing it at the cinema so I turned away, but not before seeing the legs of the 'monster' chasing Frodo through some caves. It looked horrible.
Just hope Peter Jackson gets the Best Director oscar this time. If any director ever deserved this award it's him!

Religious reasons, hunting trophies, art for art's sake? Not sure if anyone knows the reasons for this art. My guess is they were drawn to celebrate successful hunting expeditions.

at the appropriate time the duplicate memory pattern is stamped onto the "blank" human body.

The watchtower does not really teach a resurrection hope, but instead teaches that those who die before armageddon will remain in their graves, dead, rotting, forever. They will simply be replaced (like in the movie) with "blank" human bodies stamped with a copy of the witness memory pattern.
That puts into words exactly what I've always thought the WTS resurrection doctrine really means. In my view the only way a bodily resurrection can work is if there is a soul/spirit that continues after death that can be put back into a re-created body. Otherwise it is simply a clone of the original.
